Twenty years of teaching sure goes by fast when you are having fun! I have taught first through fifth graders in public schools while raising three kids of my own, so I am well versed in a variety of curriculum standards, learning styles, and levels of motivation. I have even taught English to kids in another country using an online platform, as a second job for the last three years. I am eager to meet and work with new students. I feel strongly that all students learn best when they are having fun!

Hobbies

I am a teacher who loves teaching. When I am not helping kids learn, I absolutely love to spin around on a dance floor. I also enjoy knitting and reading for pleasure. I spend my summers near water- lakes, rivers, ponds, oceans, pools, bathtubs... you name it! In the evenings, when I can, I relax by watching movies on the couch with my own three kids. Popcorn, anyone?
