With more than two years of worth of teaching at the college level and a Master's of Science degree in mathematics, I have taught and supported students in various subjects of mathematics, ranging from Statistics and Probability; Calculus I, II, and III; trigonometry and precalculus, and other subjects. Furthermore, I have taught as an independent contractor for different firms for the last seven years. Tutoring can be an entertaining challenge; in particular, the amount of creativity used to explain concepts to students with various unorthdox methods of learning leaves room for them to enjoy the experience learning the concept first-hand and learn about themselves a bit in the process. For me, the objective is for the student to become genuinely interested in a subject, especially as tough as mathematics, after having that 'a-ha!" moment of everything suddenly making sense. That is one of the major objectives I attempt to achieve.

It's unusual how far I will go to help a student learn in a personalized environment designed for them. As I come across videos of mathematics from various youtubers and websites, the more I've learned students learn best in an setting uniquely built for them. This could be working with students who are used to counting in base 12 (who knew you could keep track of numbers by knuckles spaces between the inner side of your fingers!), multiply by counting vertices in the Latin print of numerals involved, or simply those who have never had someone to help foster their growth in their skills in mathematics! After a few sessions, students start to see how fast they are capturing the material and how much of it starts to make sense for them in real-time; this is especially prevalent once we diagnose where the student is having problems day one and start chipping away until a complete picture is built for the student to grasp. If the student puts in the effort, they deserve the best tutoring service that I offer.

If you're interested in someone who will do whatever they can to attend to your needs, don't hesitate to contact me.
