Understanding the level of each student and teaching them from their own understanding.

Get to know them and their skills during the first session.

By helping them keep confidence in their skills and learning to stay actively independent.

Start with an easy concept first to get to the concept that they need to know.
How do you help students who are struggling with reading comprehension?
With patience, I teach them how to pronounce and better understand their language skills.
What strategies have you found to be most successful when you start to work with a student?
I start with the easy task to get to the difficult ones. It has never failed me.
How would you help a student get excited/engaged with a subject that they are struggling in?
Use what they love as an example.
What techniques would you use to be sure that a student understands the material?
Start with easy tasks, use their favorite toys or items to better understand their learning experience and address their difficulties through that method.
How do you build a student's confidence in a subject?
By helping them focus on the subject and to retain that confidence.

Based on their understanding of what I have taught them.
How do you adapt your tutoring to the student's needs?
I adapt my tutoring to the student's needs by teaching them and learning. With that, I teach myself about them and what I know.
What types of materials do you typically use during a tutoring session?
Patience, love, kindness, and their favorite toys or animals. Then combining these to make a difference in your child's life.
