Im a professional Writer and Communicator with experience developing content, campaigns and stories for MTV, Disney Channel, Discovery Channel and PBS. Currently, I'm a Copywriter and Creative Consultant.

Before getting into media, I taught 7th-12th Grade English and Creative Writing for five years in private schools, including Canisius High in Buffalo, one of New Yorks top Jesuit prep schools. I got my B.A. in English from the University of Notre Dame and a Marketing MBA from Columbia.

I have a solid academic background and a passionate interest in American/English Literature. Im strong on standardized test preparation. I am able to coach students through the material, while providing solid test-taking strategy. Im a great resource for college admission essays from the Common App, to long and short supplemental essays, to brag sheets and student resumes.

As a Teacher and Editor, I help students to analyze content, organize their insights, and express their ideas with language that is original, personal, and correct. As a creative guide, I use humor, pop-culture references, and real-world experience to help young writers draw out their experiences and perceptions, and shape them into personal essays that say something meaningful.

In my free time, I enjoy music, playing guitar, film and theater, hiking, tennis, and other sports.
