I am a Special Education Instructor. I received my B.A. in K-12 Cross Categorical at the University of Arizona. I can provide different approaches and strategies to content to help students that struggle with learning.
My clients have ranged from elementary to high school aged students. I also work for another company called United Cerebral Palsy of Southern Arizona helping individuals with special needs with items such as social skills and academic skills in real life situations.
I enjoy incorporating aspects of Art in my teaching/tutoring as well as many hands-on experiences. I try to create lessons/activities that would work for a variety of leaners (visual, tactile/kinesthetic, auditory, etc). I feel that in order to truly understand something and know the why, you must learn in the way you learn best.
In my free time I enjoy playing video games, spelunking, hiking, and anything art related.
