Trigonometry Tutoring review by Rebekah in Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, IN
The student is a very bright 5th grader. He knows how to do the math, but when he makes a mistake in his calculations, he loses confidence very quickly. We will focus on confidence building in addition to improving his math skills.

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Daniel in Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, IN
The student is a very bright student who has a good grasp on his current Algebra material. He made a couple of minor mistakes on his last test due to time constraints and not checking his answers. We went over time management when it comes to taking tests. We also went over his homework, which covered new material. He showed me how his teacher wanted him to complete certain problems, while I showed him other ways to complete them. I am very confident that he will succeed in math; he already has a foundation and good understanding. I look forward to working with him again and meeting his teacher.

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Gavin in Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, IN
The student is a very bright young man with a very inquisitive mind. I could appreciate his desire to delve past the surface when I was explaining concepts to him. He had no fear in saying he didn't quite understand something and we would work through it until it made sense to him. Looking over some of his past work, it seemed the majority of his mistakes were made through potentially moving too fast and getting the wrong numbers as a result, not the process. The room to grow is there and I look forward to creating problems for him to solve next week.

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Dustin in Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, IN
The student is actually working in AP Calculus BC in an advanced STEM program at her school. We worked on integration by parts with a heavy emphasis on trigonometric functions and utilizing their substitution for integration, particularly the sec (theta) method. She has requested some review of trigonometric equivalencies and the unit circle, which I will be drafting and sending to her. She has an excellent understanding of the material, and requires very little guidance to get on the right path toward solving a given problem.

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Alan in Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, IN
The student is almost finished with his class. His online homework is mostly review material. We worked on a few corrections and then completed his current assignment. He is able to do the math on his own, but the online system is not well formatted for the visually impaired. I often have to redraw the graphs so he can see the relevant parts. The computer often creates graphs with no scales or with small print.
