About Me

I am an educator with 25 years' experience teaching in K-12. I've been an administrator, instructional coach, and teacher. Currently, I am working as an adjunct professor teaching STEM to graduate teaching candidates and I am also a data analyst for a small business. I believe every student can learn and I strive to find relevant and real-world examples to teach concepts. My toolbox is full of teaching strategies with engaging lessons and hands-on manipulatives. My strengths are all K-6 academic subjects, math up through Algebra, remedial reading/math (Orton-Gillingham certified), educational technology, data analysis, and Microsoft/Google/iWork business applications.
