I've helped high school students with essay composition and academic subjects such as biology, geometry, algebra, and history. I have also helped support adult language learners in their journey to learn English and Russian.

I'm a PhD student in Bioengineering at the University of Washington, I recently graduated from Johns Hopkins University studying Biology with a minor in Spanish. I'm very interested in all things math and science and also tutor in Spanish and with the ACT. I live in San Francisco and would love to help out with anything of that sort. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outside, fishing, kayaking, and playing many different sports.

Helping students achieve confidence and understanding is the most rewarding job in the world. I've worked successfully in classrooms with elementary aged students, and tutored students up to college level. I always start by meeting my students at their level of experience and understanding so that we can work together to build up their skills.
