Tutoring review by Jerilynn in Lake Forest Park, WA
We continued to review for the student's upcoming geometry test. We went through the list of terms we started on Monday and defined and drew each one as well as added a few additional terms. We talked about lines, segments, rays, and parallel, intersecting, and skew lines. We also went through all the different classifications of angles and which ones we know the exact measure of. We talked about congruent, complementary, and supplementary angles and practiced finding the measure of angles in different situations. Lastly, we looked over his parallel lines project and the various types of pairs of angles created by lines that transverse parallel lines. He is getting better at calculating the angles from intersecting lines and is starting to recognize more of the different types of lines and angles.
