I am a student a the University of Washington, majoring in Data Science. I graduated high school in 2019 and am aiming to receive my Bachelor degree by the end of 2021. I enjoy helping people learn and I have a lot of past experiences with giving people the tools they need to succeed. I particularly love tutoring math, physics and computer science because they are very much based on conceptual understanding which is what I like to give my students.

I'm not someone who likes to focus on memorization or learning specific math or grammar rules. I believe more points can be won/lost based on the process that a student uses to answer questions. How many times have you looked at the answers to a question you got wrong on a test and realized that you knew how to find the answer you just made a simple mistake. I can help you make less of those mistakes, and that is where the most significant short term growth can be made.

I am a proponent of active learning and use a variety of methods to encourage discussion and interaction on the topics the course presents. I make sure to bring out the real abilities in the student and imbibe better learning.
