What's covered in a typical Tampa bar exam class?
The content of bar exam classes is based on the content that you'll be tested on while taking the bar exam. Each state has different requirements for which bar exam tests you need to pass as a part of your admission process to the bar. If you plan on practicing law in Florida, for example, then you'll need to pass the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE) as well as the Multistate Bar Examination (MBE).
The MPRE was designed to assess how well you know and understand the laws that govern the conduct of lawyers and judges. It has a two-hour time limit and features 60 multiple-choice questions. You'll be asked questions on topics like regulation of the legal profession, the different roles of the lawyer, client confidentiality, conflicts of interest, and more.
The MBE is a more comprehensive exam. It has a six-hour time limit and consists of 200 multiple-choice questions. You'll be asked questions on some of the most important legal subject areas. This includes subjects like civil procedure, torts, criminal law, real property, contracts, and constitutional law, among others. Your Tampa bar exam class can help you review these topics, some of which you may not have significantly studied since your first year in law school.
What are the benefits of taking a Tampa bar exam course?
Courses provide a unique way to get ready for your upcoming bar exam. They take place entirely online through a powerful virtual learning platform that connects you directly with an experienced instructor. You'll also learn alongside a group of peers who are preparing to take the bar exam just like you. Your educator will teach you all through a series of live lectures, which, collectively, cover everything that you need to know before taking the bar exam. You can ask questions throughout this process and can listen to the questions that your peers ask, which may help you think about the material you're studying in new and helpful ways.
Still, you may find that some of the topics that are covered in your class are more difficult for you to fully understand than others. When this happens, you don't have to worry. Instead, you'll have the option of signing up to work individually with your educator. You can get help with specific topics within subjects like torts and real property, or additional guidance wherever else you may need it. This makes it easy to keep pace with the rest of your class and to continue making progress towards your bar exam goals.
You may be interested in signing up for a course but unsure of how to fit it into your schedule. When you reach out to Varsity Tutors to find your course, then you'll have a number of options to choose from. Courses meet at various times during the day and throughout the week. This makes it easy to participate in one that meets at times that work around your existing obligations. Additionally, since courses take place entirely online, you won't have to commute to and from anywhere in order to participate in them. Instead, you can follow along with your course lectures from anywhere that you have an internet connection.
