I am most passionate about helping students excel in reading and writing. I try to make my tutoring sessions as conversational as possible; I believe that both student and tutor should learn together. What I hope to achieve in my sessions is instilling confidence in my students. When students feel confident in themselves, they will be prepared to succeed both in and outside of the classroom.

I'm a certified math teacher for middle school and high school. I have 16 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I can explain math concepts in various different ways in order to help each unique student succeed.

I am currently serving as a 7th grade ELA educator at West York. I am passionate about writing and finding creative ways to introduce students to reading skills they can take with them into high school and beyond. It is my endeavor as a teacher to foster a deep love for reading and writing while also practicing high-level analytical skills necessary for test prep and readiness for the next grade level!

I'm married to my best friend and childhood sweetheart. Together, we have two awesome kids- a toddler boy and baby girl. I love "reality" tv for all its fun and entertainment. However, there's nothing better than a good book and a full mug of coffee. I love History and specifically the history of our nation and the formation of government. I speak Spanish fluently and have traveled to Latin America several times for humanitarian aid trips as well as my former job in adoptions.
