Vocabulary/Reading: The student has excellent reading comprehension. She has an excellent vocabulary and instantly grasps various usages and endings for words.
She is a great student and loves learning - she said she would do a few more worksheets in her various workbooks over the holiday.

Today we worked on sight phrases, spelling, reading aloud, and began some algebra. The student did a great job. We will continue to work on these things going forward. He has spelling homework, and he is to read aloud (with feeling!) every day.

First, Student 1 and I worked on reviewing some multiplication and writing numbers in word format. Then, we worked on adding some to a story he's writing. Then, Student 2 and I worked on some short-u family words, addition and reading skills. Student 3 and I worked on br-blend words, brainstorming for a story, and finished up with some reading skills, like inferencing.
