I enjoy teaching math because to the student who doesn't understand, it is a riddle with no answer. By teaching them how to recognize the type of problem and how to decode the clues, the student gets to be on the other side of the riddle, the side on which they solve it and feel good about it.

I am a current Ph.D. student at the University of Minnesota studying social psychology.
