I am a passionate mathematics educator with teaching experience at both university and secondary levels. I have a natural talent for seeing subjects from the point of view of the student; I am not stuck in my own expertise. I am committed to finding effective strategies for facilitating understanding for each student, rather than just process.
Special notes for Competition Math: I placed first in the Twin Cities (St. Paul / Minneapolis, MN) HS league twice, with one time being a tie. I qualified for the AIME twice exam via high AHSME scores. I was on the MN state ARML team twice. I have also sat the Putnam exam, a college-level competitive test.
