I am currently completing post-baccalaureate pre-medical program at Columbia University. Prior to my academic career at Columbia, I was a student-athlete at College of the Holy Cross, where I majored in International Relations. I am passionate about teaching because I love learning. I am currently a junior at the University of Georgia pursuing a BBA in Finance and Management Information Systems. I have just over a year of experience in teaching math-based subjects. I had about 12 years teaching experience in middle school and college. One thing that I learned is that teach at student's level, not at my level. People easily forget how they learned when they were young, which cause the gap between a student and a tutor. For me, the most important thing of tutoring is to understand student's issue deeply and lead the student out of his/her mistaken perception of the course and himself/herself.
