Recent Amherst College grad, double major in Math and Theater. I believe in meeting students where they are. I hope to make difficult subjects accessible, even exciting, through new ways of thinking about (apparently) mundane problems.

I am an economics student at Brown University and recently completed a government-funded exchange year in Germany through the CBYX scholarship. My goal is to help you or your child make the most out of your time and learn in the ways suited to you!

Every student has his or her own learning strengths and weaknesses. A Good teacher is able to discern those strengths and weaknesses, and tailor the lessons to match the student's optimal learning method. I try to determine the student's learning strengths and weaknesses as part of my tutoring effort, so that the student can get the most out of our sessions.

...My doctoral research topic dealt with Cell Therapy and Biomolecular applications of stem cells. I do have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering as well. I believe the point of teaching or tutoring is not to fill the student's mind with a bunch of knowledge but to get him or her excited about learning and about the opportunities that are before them when they have learned something new.
