I have taught for over 20 years, both classroom math/english to grades 1-college, and tutored private students grades 4-12. I love math and history. I am on the board of STEM in our Mamaroneck School District, and combine math and problem solving in a holistic way.

My daily objective is to use my platform as a teacher and coach to encourage the development of my students and athletes as people. I do this by focusing on building authentic relationships and then encouraging curiosity in specific content areas. In regards to pedagogy, I stress the importance of process-driven results to motivate daily progress!

My inspiration comes from that moment when you look at a students face and know that they have just understood a concept. It is invigorating to know that you have helped empower a student with knowledge that no one can ever take away.
