Learning and teaching are among my top passions. I consider it an honor to have the opportunity to share knowledge with those who are eager to learn. Knowledge opens the doors to exciting, new worlds.

I have passionately pursued the application of sciences and math over my 25+ year career. I am a firm believer in promoting professional development and learning in all those around you, and being prepared to learn at the same time. Many of my examples will draw on my history in aquariums, water quality and water purification and relate to environmental stewardship and conservation biology.

As an educator, I believe all our children, are all our children. Every child should and can have the opportunity to learn. I enjoy teaching in a differentiated style while layering and scaffolding the concepts being taught. I also believe in teaching to three senses so that learning can be retained.
