I recently graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's of Science in Math Education. I've taught 1 year of high school math and have tutored all middle and high school subjects for 4+ years. Throughout my education and teaching experience, I've learned how important it is for students to not just understand how to find correct answers but to understand the "why" behind those answers. I tutor all middle and high school subjects, but I've especially had fun in helping students understand why math works in geometry by using fun visual activities. It is my educational philosophy that it is students who should make discoveries in learning and that as they do, subjects become more meaningful and applicable to other areas in life!
