I have been tutoring students in almost every level of mathematics up through second year college courses for about two years now. In this time I have worked with a wide variety of students from many diverse backgrounds and skill levels. I take each student's success seriously, and do everything in my power to present material in a clear and easy to understand way, emphasizing conceptual understanding above memorization. Mathematics is my primary passion in life, and I enjoy little more than sharing it with others.

I recently graduated magna cum laude from Hamilton College with a B.A. in Economics and Government, and I just finished my first year at Columbia Law School this past May. I ran several student organizations at Hamilton and gained a lot of experience teaching and mentoring younger students. I really enjoy getting to know my students and I like to bring a sense of humor to my lessons to help keep them engaged. I have tutored students ranging from 3rd grade to seniors in college and I have experience tutoring a variety of subjects, but my favorite subjects to tutor are Economics, LSAT prep, Government, Essay Editing, and Public Speaking. In high school I took almost every math class available up to AP Calculus AB and BC, which I scored a 5 on both AP tests. Years later I set off to Arrowhead Ranch in Southern California, to teach science as an outdoor Naturalist. I taught Botany, Astronomy, Zoology, Ecology, Metrology, and Geology in accordance with State of California Board of Education Framework. I learned that science is not a cold, calculating endeavor. It's a joint effort between communities. It's an opportunity for people of diverse backgrounds to come together and combine their collective experiences to build a more educated, and more joyous world.
