I am an undergraduate student at the University of Chicago studying biology and data science. I have been tutoring diverse groups of students for much of my life, and I teach with the aim of reducing educational disparity and helping every student to find their passion in the classroom. My favorite subject to teach is math, as my teaching philosophy revolves around encouraging critical thinking and problem solving techniques, rather than rote memorization.

Born and raised in Syria with a fluent Arabic language. With a cup of coffee in hand, I love to write and read for hours on end. Being proficient in Arabic, I hold an Associate of Arts degree from College of Dupage and a Bachelor degree from Lewis University. I enjoy being creative and engaging with children as I took numerous classes that involve education till middle school level.

I like to learn new things and I also enjoy watching people learn new things as well. I enjoy running and cycling. I also like to play piano and cook too. I have experience using Mathematica and completed three courses in university that used Mathematica.

I received my B.A. in English from Dominican University this past May.
