Tutoring review by Alyssa in Des Plaines, IL
Today we went through the Language section of the prep book.  The student only got one wrong in the entire section and test.  Then we reviewed his answers from the math sections he had completed over the past week.  Again, only one error.  We then discussed several problems and extended a few.  Then we went over some test-taking strategies, test preparation, and anxiety-reduction.  I think he will do well!

Practiced writing a five-minute outline for a prompt, then turning one point into a paragraph. Reviewed math concepts (basically all of geometry and trig as outlined in the book). Tried out reading strategy again, on the humanities passage, but with more careful reading this time. Reviewed experiments and conflicting hypotheses sections of science test; practiced with a couple drills from the book.
