I find that in most instances, confused students are unclear on one or two simple, yet important ideas. Clearing these up, and deliberately following their implications, can make students have a much better level of understanding while also feeling confident in their knowledge. This processes defines my style of teaching.

I'm currently studying computer science at Northeastern University. I have a full year of experience tutoring high school students outside Varsity Tutors. Working with students is rewarding because there is nothing better than helping someone else understand a difficult concept. We've all had those "aha!" moments, and it feels great to guide someone towards finding that.
