She was able to correctly solve all of her homework problems.

Today the student and I covered finding relative maxima and minima, finding inflection points, finding concavity, the mean value theorem, and Rolle's theorem. The student struggled to grasp the relationships between the first and second derivatives but eventually was able to understand the concepts. We covered several homework questions she was struggling with regarding graph analysis and she was able to use things we reviewed to help her with the rest of her homework.

Calculus Tutoring review by Stephen in Framingham, MA
In this section we began to cover simplifying expressions which had fractions with binomials and trinomials in them. We practiced finding the Least Common Denominator; I showed the student a few different ways of finding this; then, once the expression had been combined, we practiced simplifying the expression from there. I stressed to him the importance and simplicity of looking for like terms in the numerator and denominator to eliminate before multiplying complex expressions.
