I recently retired from a 15+ year career in computer security. It is an important field to me, and one that I always struggled to find enough qualified employees for. I hope that my tutoring shares some of the passion for this field and helps prepare you for a career that you can enjoy as much as I enjoyed mine.

I believe that the best learners have an innate passion for the subject that they are pursuing. I learned this very early on when in grade school I dreaded English and performed poorly in my classes. But when my teacher asked me to try and relate to the characters I was reading about, this allowed me to articulate my responses in the form of essays very effectively. I am a senior at Whitworth University double majoring in physics and mathematics. I worked as a supplemental instructor for calculus and introductory physics classes for four consecutive semesters. My job included tutoring, lecturing and making worksheets for practice outside class.
