I grew up just outside of Boston in a Russian immigrant family. I grew up speaking Russian and learning math with family as a means of communication and bonding. I developed a passion for problem-solving and learning from a young age which followed me into my teen years.

I am enthusiastic about helping people feel confident about themselves while learning at their own pace and in their own way. I have taught students from third grade through college and especially like languages.

I am a retired corporate instructor and for the past ten years a professor at New York University (NYU). Education has been a lifelong passion which I pursue, in part, by tutoring individual students from late middle school through college. I'm married and have three grown children and a couple of very special grandchildren.

I am a data analyst and Finance graduate student with a passion for mathematics and Economics. I love helping others learn and have tutored for years professionally.
