Class sessions are managed via a virtual classroom and are highly interactive. You can also work one-on-one with an Albuquerque GMAT tutor if you're more comfortable with this method. What Topics and Concepts Might Albuquerque GMAT Prep Cover?
If you're planning on applying to an MBA program like the one at the University of New Mexico - Anderson School of Management, you'll need to perform your best in four sections: the Analytical Writing Assessment and the Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Verbal Reasoning sections. These sections can be approached in one of three different sequences. But each part of the test covers specific concepts and skills you'll need to fully understand. To help you focus on your preparation, we've provided a closer look at what each section entails.
The Analytical Writing Assessment is a 30-minute section in which you must demonstrate your proficiency in written English communication. An argument is first presented, and then you must analyze its reasoning to evaluate its intent. The structural and linguistic elements of your writing will be assessed by a computer-based system, while human evaluators will look at the quality of your writing and critical thinking skills, as well as the reasoning behind your response.
The Integrated Reasoning portion of the GMAT has 12 questions and allows 30 minutes. It tests your skills in aggregating information from various sources and using it to problem solve. Four types of questions are included. By answering table analysis, two-part analysis, graphics interpretation, and multi-source reasoning questions, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your abilities to synthesize and evaluate information presented in different formats. The goal is to show you can make sound decisions based on the data provided.
The Quantitative Reasoning section has a total of 31 questions to answer in 62 minutes. These include problem-solving and data sufficiency questions in which you use relevant data to come to a conclusion, applying knowledge and math skills in the process. Then, the 36 multiple-choice questions of the Verbal Reasoning section cover reading comprehension, critical reasoning, and sentence correction questions. You are allotted 62 minutes to complete this section.
How Do I Stand to Benefit From Albuquerque GMAT Prep?
Varsity Tutors offers two main types of GMAT preparation. You can choose from prep courses or private tutoring. We can help set you up with either one of these, or you can use a combination of the two for an especially thorough review. Here's a look at what each has to offer.
Each Albuquerque GMAT prep course is conducted by an experienced instructor. An interactive online course lets you work together with your instructor and participate in discussions and activities with other students. The instructor can cover subjects featured on the exam or assist in the collaborative process. You may learn new concepts, test-taking strategies such as interpreting the language of the question and eliminating answers, or work on other skills that can help you perform your best.
Available in two- and four-week sessions, each class also begins new sections on a weekly basis. In addition, it can be accessed wherever you go, so long as you have access to the internet. The Albuquerque GMAT prep class is managed like a traditional classroom session. If you're interested, we'll sign you up and then you attend live sessions at scheduled times. And if you have additional learning opportunities and questions not covered during the class session, instructors are available for one-on-one time to work individually with you.
If one-one-one learning is your preferred method, we can set you up with an Albuquerque GMAT prep tutor. Private instructors have the ability to customize a lesson based on your needs. Such attention often isn't possible in a classroom environment. Sessions can be arranged according to your request. Whether you choose to work online via our Live Learning Platform or would prefer to work at a specific location in person is entirely up to you.
Working with a private instructor comes with the benefits of customization. Your mentor can get to know your goals, interests, and strengths while focusing on your areas of opportunity. Study sessions can even be organized around your learning style. The plan can, therefore, cater to your exact needs. For example, if your writing skills are optimal but you need more work in applying logic and math to problem solving, your private educator can devote more time to Quantitative Reasoning. Your Albuquerque GMAT tutor is there to start at your level and work out a plan that's focused on reaching for your goals.
