I am an energetic and passionate teacher, intensely interested in the individual learning abilities of my students. I aspire to help each one achieve his or her highest potential.

After completing a two year service as a Peace Corps Volunteer in West Africa, I earned my teaching credentials in both English and Special Education and taught in Philadelphia for four years. I recently relocated to sunny San Diego with my Master's degree in Education in hand and tutoring experience under my belt. English and Math are my strong suits, and I'm excited to put my tutoring skills to use through Varsity Tutors.

I have more than five years of tutoring and teaching experience, from elementary school to high school to adult learners, having taught English, English as a Second Language, Geography, Social Studies, General Educational Development classes and SAT prep.
