I am tutor with a strong passion for the social sciences, humanities, writing, and languages. I have been tutoring or teaching since 2009 in many places around the world. I just recently got back from South Korea, where I taught AP US, European, and World History, as well as AP Philosophy, AP Literature, essay writing, and SAT. I have also been a teacher in Mexico and Canada.

I received a BA in History from the University of California, Berkeley. Attending school at one of the best history departments in the country allowed me to develop a handful of studying, writing, and thinking skills that I try to teach to every student.

I believe that all subjects that I teach can be exciting and fun, and it is the job of the teacher to approach the subject in the right way for the student to appreciate the subject. This is not to say, however, that I don't have expectations. In fact, I believe that it is my duty to exploit the intellectual potential of my students.

I have a wide variety of non-academic interests; however, the ones that stand out the most are soccer, graphic novels, video games, music, and chess.
