Hello! I am a seasoned bilingual instructor, interpreter, and language specialist with over 20 years of experience in facilitating learning in both English and Portuguese. My expertise extends to diagnosing and treating psychological conditions, with a focus on learning differences, attention deficit, dyslexia, and more. Additionally, I have assisted individuals with career management, learning assessment, and psychotherapy.

Born in Brazil, I was exposed to bilingual materials early on, greatly influenced by my mother, who teaches English and Portuguese. A decade ago, I relocated to the United States, where I completed a Master's Degree in Psychology. This transformative experience broadened my understanding of immigration issues, multicultural competencies, and bilingualism.

Driven by my passion for languages and my journey as a bilingual immigrant, I pursued training in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and PLE (Portuguese for Foreigners). Through my work, I provide students with the tools to comprehend their own learning processes and language comprehension. I empower them to construct new language structures within their communication systems, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident in their abilities.

My teaching methodology, PPP - Present, Practice, Produce, ensures that learning is structured, practical, and effective. I believe that learning should be fun and engaging. My primary goal as a Portuguese teacher is to help my students feel comfortable and confident in their abilities. By creating a supportive and enjoyable learning environment, I empower my students to reach their career and learning goals.
