I majored in French Education at Pittsburg State University, and am a licensed PK-12 French teacher in both Kansas and Missouri. During college, I completed a semester of student teaching for high school French levels I-IV. I was also a tutor for a French I class during my sophomore year at Pitt State. With Varsity Tutors, I will be tutoring high school French and English.
I am a big supporter of students learning about foreign languages and cultures as a way to broaden their world views. I have been learning French since I was 14, and it has greatly impacted my life for the better. It has opened my eyes to different ways of life I never would have known, all from my small hometown in Missouri. Additionally, learning a foreign language has also helped me learn more about the English language and its mechanics.
In my spare time, I enjoy painting, playing video games, and watching anime.
