I am a Tennessee-licensed educator in my ninth year teaching EFL/ESL, Spanish, History, and Geography in the USA, Colombia, Argentina, and Brazil, with other professional experience in gastronomy, tourism and hospitality, business, and research and writing. I firmly believe in interdisciplinarity and that learning is all about finding connections between new information and what we already know. I am an alumnus of the University of Tennessee (BA: Anthropology and Portuguese), Universidad de Buenos Aires (Especializacin: Economa Social y Desarrollo Local; Administracin Financiera del Sector Pblico), Universidad Externado de Colombia (Maestra: Asuntos Internacionales) and soon to graduate from Tennessee Tech University (MA: Curriculum and Instruction).
