Greetings! I am a graduate of The University of Illinois at Chicago with a degree in Spanish Linguistics and International Relations, and I also hold a Masters of Arts degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). My skill set encompasses 11+ years of advanced experience in translation, transcription and customer service. I currently serve as a professor in ESL Healthcare Occupational. In my most recent positions, I worked as a translator and English instructor for Basque and Catalan native speakers in Europe and an Ambulatory Representative and Interpreter in the medical field. It is important to me to secure a positive and structured learning environment, create engaging activities and implement learning objectives that appeal to different ages and cultural backgrounds to maximize their learning experience.
