I am passionate about helping students because I have had many good teachers and I like passing on things I have learned. I have had many satisfying experiences working with students and mentoring employees. I have an associates degree from Hutchinson Community college and additional education from Kansas State University and Washburn University in Topeka. But as most have done, my computer education was sitting in front of a computer controlling a small world all my own.

I have taught English as a second language but I am an expert at JavaScript and specifically Game AI which sounds fancy but is simply the art and science of adding the illusion of intelligence to game elements.
I would describe my teaching philosophy as bottom up. In other words I want to help people to be creative which means introducing elements, leaving time for students to 'mess with' what they have, combining those elements in novel ways.

I am a singer and guitar player. I design things in CAD and 3D print. I am a computer fine artist and animator. I make stop-motion animation, many things.
