Since 2018 I have been an Online Teacher for international students and U.S. based learners. Prior to this I served as a 3rd grade Instructional Team Leader, and Classroom Teacher for about 7 years.

I am certified, with endorsements in Special Education, Early Childhood, Elementary and ESOL. My Master's degree is in ESL, which has helped me patiently work with very young children up to mid-age adults in all areas of language acquisition. I have also received Orton Gillingham training to help those with reading challenges. Furthermore, I have a proven track record of helping students with autism and ADHD as a classroom and online teacher. My teaching experience is wide-ranging as well as my interactions with diverse populations.

I studied abroad in France which helped me to read, write and speak French, although currently at an advanced beginner level. I have also visited South Korea, Latvia, Kinshasa (Congo), to name a few. I grew up in New York surrounded by different people and cultures but now enjoy being part of a small farming community. These experiences have taught me to remain adaptable and to successfully work with different students and their families.

I believe tutoring sessions should never be boring so I come equipped with various tasks to keep things structured and fun. I look forward to working with you!
