I am proud to state that I received my Bachelors of Science and Masters of Education from Slippery Rock University. Post-grad certifications (including SpEd Admin certification) through the University of Pittsburgh.
I am certified as a Reading Specialist (K-12), Special Education teacher (K-12), Early Childhood/Elementary Education teacher (Pre-3) and as a Special Education Supervisor (K-12).
I am in my 31st year of teaching -currently teaching middle/secondary Literature/Lang Arts. I teach a unique class that focuses on building/strengthening executive function skills.
While I am able to tutor a variety of subjects, I love Reading, Literature, ELA, Writing and History. During my sessions, You will meet my 2 dogs, laugh a lot and learn!!

My interests and hobbies include cheering on my favorite sports/sports teams, skiing, going to the beach and traveling.
