I earned my B.S. in Microbiology and Cell Science at the University of Florida. While at UF I worked in a research laboratory identifying genes involved in the biosynthesis of flavor volatiles in strawberry. I've been tutoring on and off for the past 6 years and have an expertise in molecular genetics, biology, chemistry, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.

While earning my A.S. I was captain of the Santa Fe College brain bowl team -- a competitive collegiate quiz tournament.
