I was first introduced to tutoring through my four younger siblings. As the eldest, I have had to help them in a wide range of subjects over the years.
I gained further tutoring experience in the Andes during the summer before my junior year of high school. I lived with a host family in rural Ecuador and ran a summer camp where I tutored kids about hygiene and the environment.
My favorite subjects are those that fall in with my environmental science major: science, environmental studies, biology, and chemistry. Outside of the sciences, I love helping students with reading or English. I am passionate about reading and sit down with a good book every chance I get.
When I am not tutoring, I like to spend my time outdoors at the beach with a book, or exploring new areas of the city with friends.
