I am graduating from UW in Spring 2017 with a B.S. in Informatics and focus in Information Assurance and Cyber Security. After graduation, I will work for West Monroe Partners as a business and technology consultant.
I have experience teaching computer science, web development, and photography to 10-15 year-old students through iD Tech's Alexa Cafe program. As a Teaching Assistant at the University of Washington, I also taught a Professionalism course, which focused on building an online presence, project planning, effective communication, and other aspects of professionalism.
I primarily teach computer science and technology related subjects. Like many students, I struggled throughout my first computer science class. I believe you can learn a lot from failure; for that reason, I love challenging and encouraging students to overcome their learning obstacles and reach their full potential.
In my spare time, I enjoy working on side projects (I'm currently developing an app!), hiking, yoga, reading, UX/UI design, traveling, and DIY projects.
