I am a graduate of UHCL. I received my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry while working part time for a QC laboratory. Since graduation I moved into Research and Development, then an environmental laboratory, and finally an oil and gas laboratory before I decided to pursue teaching chemistry for a public school. I believe good education leads to an improvement in the quality of life - critical thinking and reasoning skills are essential. I also think that everybody can do anything as long as they are willing to try. In my spare time I like to prove that idea by working out/running - I was HORRIBLE at anything physical but through perseverance and practice I am slowly achieving my goals.
