I have extensive experience in the individual tutoring space and a proven track record of success with students from widely varied backgrounds and academic levels.

My relevant work history includes time a literary/technical editor at two Canadian publishing houses, freelance writing coaching for both secondary and post-secondary school clients, providing exam preparation for International Baccalaureate candidates, and tutoring at-risk youth in the Los Angeles Family Shelter system.

I would love the opportunity to discuss your needs and look forward to hearing from you soon!

Q & A

What is your teaching philosophy?

My teaching philosophy is student centered. I work to adapt my methods to best fit the learning styles of each individual student.

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

In a typical first session I aim to meet three objectives: 1. To establish my student's short term and long-term goals. 2. To assess my student's strengths, weaknesses and learning style. 3. To create a road map, outlining the strategies that will lead to my student's success.
