I started my career with the intention of getting a PhD in molecular neurobiology, and developed a passion for education. I would love to help you grow as a learner as I continue to grow as an educator.

I have been teaching Math for 7 years now. It has always been a passion of mine and I love sharing it. I find that my ability to explain certain topics to students, along with creating a solid, lasting rapport, makes me an excellent teacher and tutor.

I have spent my entire career as a librarian providing the best reference and research to the federal judiciary. It is this desire to continue to help others better themselves that motivates me to want to tutor. I would like to help them succeed for themselves and their future.

My personal statement is that I should be teaching students tools to learn, not just facts. How we learn is just as important as WHAT we learn.... My teaching philosophy has always been to meet a students needs. Teaching according to HOW they learn.... I typically build a positive rapport with my students.
