I believe that every student should have the chance to flourish! I chose to become a teacher because of this belief, and it is a joy to work with students through tutoring. When I'm not writing curriculum, teaching, or tutoring, I enjoy playing piano and golfing with my family.

I have been interested in tutoring for the past few years as I hope to one day be a high school teacher. I am in college and have maintained a 3.92 GPA through two and a half years of course work. I am super excited to walk students through problems they may be having with certain subjects and hopefully find that "break through" moment of understanding.

...I have also been an instructor for a home school group and after school programs. My favorite subjects are English, Literature, Writing, Reading, Social Studies, Speech Prep, and Study Skills. I also love helping students beat the ACT Test. Beyond having years of ACT tutoring experience, I also have an Masters degree in Business and two Bachelors degrees in fields (History and Political Science) that heavily emphasized reading, writing, analysis, and critical thinking.

I have a wealth of experience taking standardized tests and have learned several techniques to promote success.

It's my intent to be the best history tutor there is, while simultaneously being a positive role-model for students.

Learning is my passion and I hope to share that with others. I enjoy talking about absolutely everything and learning about the odd and complicated world we live in.
