About Me

I'm Suzanna. I've been a nurse for 20 years and I love tutoring! Most of my nursing career has been spent working in pediatrics with different populations such surgical patients on the floor as well as renal transplant patients and sickle cell anemia patients. I also worked as a med/surg nurse for a few years as well. My most recent job was as a school nurse for 7 1/2 years. I have always enjoyed precepting and mentoring nursing students and new nurses in the hospital setting. I enjoy tutoring students for NCLEX and have quite a bit of experience with U-World, Archer, Saunders, and Kaplan. I also tutor students for pediatrics and maternal mother baby, which I have really come to enjoy! I have a MSN in nursing education. My goal as the tutor is to be a great mentor, encourage my students, and build their self confidence. It's important to me, as the tutor, to help each student understand the material covered in a way that each individual learns best. Best wishes for a bright future and welcome to Varsity!
