About Me

I am a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre with an emphasis in acting in 2005. Since graduation, I worked for a bit as an actor and then I began, perhaps the most rewarding chapter, teaching high school students theatre. While I have knowledge in a wide array of subjects, my favorites are English, Reading and, of course, Theatre. I believe everyone should have access to education and want to help my students be successful. When students struggle and fall behind, the temptation to give up is great. I relish the opportunity to help them feel comfortable and able to face the challenges that await them. It is important to meet students where they are and figure out what type of learning style works best for them. Outside of education for others, I focus on growing my own knowledge base. I am excited to be attending law school in the Fall and excited I get to continue working with learners through this platform.
