About Me

Hi, I'm Snow! I am currently a Medical Student at Nova Southeastern University. I have a Masters in Medicine from Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida. I have a Bachelor's in Public Health from the University of Houston at the College of Education. I have been a Math and Science teacher since 2015.I have taught in public and charter schools. I have taught grades 2-8 and tutored up to the college level. I have taught in a Gifted and Talented Academy for 3 years pioneering new ways of teaching the gifted. On the opposite end of the spectrum, I have also been a Math Intervention Specialist and Resource Teacher. This is also where I specialized in STAAR prep. I have recently taken the GRE, MCAT and FTCE Math and General. I have spent much time as a premed focusing on Science courses such as Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Genetics, Anatomy and Physiology, Immunology, Microbiology etc. I also have a knack for writing which is why I often edit and revise personal statements and college/grad school applications. What brought me to teaching is a gift of breaking down concepts and the patience to explain something as many times and in many ways as it takes. My students' growth and success is what makes all the hard work worthwhile.
