About Me

Hello! I am a third year physical therapy student at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. I graduated Cum Laude from the University of Lynchburg with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. I've worked for 4 years as a math tutor in the subjects of Liberal Arts Math, Statistics, and Precalculus. I'd describe my teaching style as a balance between challenge and support. I challenge the student to try problems, make mistakes, and be honest when they don't understand something. I know it can be frustrating, because I'm a student too. I'll be there every step of the way to support my students and give a nudge in the right direction. Something fun about me is I played field hockey for 4 years at Lynchburg and I have a Lab-Boxer mix puppy!
