About Me

I am a graduate of Washington and Lee University. I received my Bachelor of Science with special attainments in Biochemistry. Since graduation, I have traveled extensively, and tutored students of all ages at my alma mater and also my high school and middle school. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about the sciences, math, and communications. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for standardized tests, we always seem to have the most fun prepping for the Critical Reading and Writing portions of the exams, as well as the science section of the ACT. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy SCUBA diving around the world, photographing and writing about my adventures in a travel blog, reading, and football season.
