About Me

I am a sophomore at Grove City College majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Though I have no formal experience tutoring, I have helped my fellow students on many occasions. I truly love helping people around me understand difficult concepts. I know that each student learns differently. From experience, I know I am able to alter how I teach dependent on how the student learns. For example, I have a friend who is not a visual learner. I was able to adjust my methods to accommodate her learning style. I have had the opportunity to learn from fantastic teachers. I have been able to learn many helpful tips and tricks to pass on to students. Not only would I be able to adjust my teaching style, I am also very patient and encouraging in my teaching style. There are a lot of difficult subjects that are really hard to understand. It's very easy to want to give up. I would not only teach the subject, but give the student the confidence to continue learning after the tutoring session. I look forward to helping you learn and grow in confidence.
